Freeland is 9-0 against Birch Run since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Freeland Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Birch Run Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Freeland is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Freeland stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Bridgeport 59-10 on the road. Given Freeland's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Bridgeport is ranked 456th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Birch Run's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 71-18 loss at the hands of Frankenmuth. Birch Run was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.
Freeland's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Birch Run, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
