Pendleton has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Walhalla Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, Pendleton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Lions. Pendleton has struggled against the Lions recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Walhalla was beaten by the Bobcats 75-47 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Walhalla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Bobcats are ranked 70th).
Pendleton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11. As for Walhalla, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
Pendleton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Razorbacks in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. Does Pendleton have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Razorbacks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
