Everything went their way against the Carmel Corsairs as the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers made off with  a  13-1 win. Fanter  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-3, while  Walker  fired off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Addison Rizzatto, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 On Carmel's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aly Krogman, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double.
