After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against San Mateo, Los Altos was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cupertino Pioneers  a   10-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six  runs or more this season.
 Kaylyn Cox looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Lila Neugebauer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  stolen base was  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nadia Mootz, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Los Altos was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .455. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Los Altos is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. This is the second loss in a row for Cupertino and  nudges their season record down to 2-3.
 Coming up, Los Altos will challenge Milpitas at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Los Altos is facing Milpitas at the right time seeing as Milpitas is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Cupertino, they will square off against South San Francisco at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. South San Francisco has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25  runs per game on average), something Cupertino will no doubt try to take advantage of.
