The Neah Bay Red Devils entered their tilt with the Coupeville Wolves with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went Neah Bay's way against Coupeville on Saturday as Neah Bay made off with a 64-41 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Neah Bay has posted since December 9, 2023.
Neah Bay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Swan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Swan is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Seactis Woodruff, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Neah Bay's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Coupeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Neah Bay will head out on the road to take on Forks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Forks is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Coupeville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Concrete at 7:00 p.m. Concrete will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Coupeville is ranked 160th).
