After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethel, the Kennedy Eagles were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Hercules by a score of 55-46. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Kennedy considering their 19-point performance the contest before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kennedy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marvin Singleton, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singleton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Martin, who scored 17 points.
Kennedy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Hercules, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Kennedy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Envision Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Envision Academy's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Kennedy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Hercules won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Deer Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Deer Valley will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
