Bay Port is a perfect 3-0 against Seymour since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Thunder at 4:30 p.m. Bay Port's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Seymour's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Friday just wasn't the day for Bay Port's offense. They fell just short of Ashwaubenon by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Keagan Wheeler was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Seymour made sure to put some runs up on the board against Antigo on Friday. The Thunder put the hurt on the Red Robins with a sharp 12-1 win. Considering the Thunder have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Cayden Staffeldt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Carson Staffeldt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Seymour always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Antigo only posted an OBP of .300.

Seymour has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bay Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Bay Port took their win against Seymour when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
