McDonald County was dealt a 81-38 loss at the hands of Webb City. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points McDonald County has scored all season.
Webb City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Barron Duda out in front who scored 19 points along with five steals. The contest was Duda's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Omari Jackson, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
McDonald County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Webb City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
McDonald County will be playing in front of their home fans against Carthage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carthage presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than McDonald County in Missouri (Carthage is ranked 102nd, while McDonald County is ranked 346th). As for Webb City, they will take on Chrisman at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chrisman is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
