Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Prep Bears vs. Langtree Charter Academy Lions

Bradford Prep is 2-7 against Langtree Charter Academy since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bradford Prep Bears will welcome the Langtree Charter Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. Bradford Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, Bradford Prep turned things around against Carolina International on Tuesday. They breezed by the Comets to the tune of 57-19. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bradford Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Raquel Feliciano, who posted ten points. That's the most points Feliciano has posted since back in December of 2023. Avery Brisseaux was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points.

Meanwhile, Langtree Charter Academy came up short against Highland Tech on Wednesday and fell 35-27. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Langtree Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bradford Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything went Bradford Prep's way against Langtree Charter Academy in their previous meeting back in January, as Bradford Prep made off with a 40-19 victory. Will Bradford Prep repeat their success, or does Langtree Charter Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
