Softball Recap: Mccann Tech's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McCann Tech had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Chicopee Comp Colts. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

McCann Tech pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Chicopee Comp, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCann Tech will face off against Drury at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicopee Comp, they will be playing at home against Palmer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
