Starting off the list is Pope John XXIII's Tylik Hill, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hill rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.
If the past is any indication, Hill could be in store for another big game when he takes on Seton Hall Prep on Saturday. Hill rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry the last time he and Seton Hall Prep duked it out back in September of 2023.

Depaul Catholic Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Derek Zammit
Derek Zammit was instrumental in extending DePaul Catholic's winning streak to six on Friday. Don Bosco Prep had no answer to Zammit as he threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards.
Zammit and DePaul Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Peter's Prep at 6:30 p.m. on October 17th. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Marauders, probably because Zammit had a solid game then too: he threw for 240 yards while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
