Despite the defeat, Academy of Notre Dame saw an underclassman step up: freshman Isiah Ferguson posted 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ferguson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rigo Challinger, who scored 12 points.
Innovation Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Academy of Notre Dame, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
Innovation Academy has already played their next matchup, a 92-76 defeat against Mystic Valley Regional on the 22nd. As for Academy of Notre Dame, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-59 victory against Collegiate Charter School of Lowell on the 23rd.
