Panther Valley played a tough  contest  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost  35-14 to the Williams Valley Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Vikings are ranked 177th).
 Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Brody Breiner, who threw for 162 yards and one  touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards. Breiner also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending one pass.
 Williams Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Chevy Green, who rushed for 19 yards and a pair of  scores, and also threw for 104 yards and one  TD.  Blazer Lords also helped out with an impressive 89  receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Panther Valley and  nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Williams Valley, their record is now 6-1.
