Carter Pabst Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Carter Pabst produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Eisenhower to the win on Friday. Pabst picked up 154 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.3 receiving touchdowns per game.
Unfortunately for Arkansas City, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Pabst. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Pabst saw the Bulldogs), he picked up 129 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Derek Morgan Delivers Best Effort of Season
Eisenhower was led to victory by Derek Morgan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Morgan threw for 240 yards and five touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
Arkansas City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Morgan it was a similar story. When Morgan last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per attempt.

A Season-Best Effort from Erik Olivas Leads Goddard over South
On Friday, Goddard got the W thanks in part to Erik Olivas playing the best football he has all season. Olivas rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory (which was Goddard's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Olivas and Goddard will take on Arkansas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Archibald As Andover Central Won 31-7
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Maddox Archibald stepped things up a notch to give Andover Central the 'W'. Archibald turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 147 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
Andover Central's win bumped their record up to 5-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Jaguars faces off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cooper Reves Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Cooper Reves of Salina Central. Reves' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 162 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also rushed for 216 rushing yards, which is notable because Salina Central is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Salina Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. Reves' next matchup is against Andover on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
