The Armijo Royals will venture away from home to challenge the Foothill Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Armijo will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Armijo made easy work of Florin and carried off a 25-1 win. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Brooklyn Talbot was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and four RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Spears, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Foothill made sure to put some runs up on the board against Florin on Monday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 20-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.
Foothill got a massive performance out of Mercede Averett, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Sofia Monroe was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double.
Armijo pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Foothill, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Armijo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .506. However, it's not like Foothill struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Armijo's way against Foothill when the teams last played back in April, as Armijo made off with a 23-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
