Even though the Cape Fear Colts have not done well against the Triton Hawks recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Cape Fear simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Triton 74-28 on the road. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  39-14.
  Jayda Angel went supernova for Cape Fear,  scoring 40 points along with 8  rebounds and 4  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Angel has scored at least 25% of Cape Fear's points.  Kayia Starling was another key contributor,  going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists.
 Triton's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Zion Cameron, who  scored 5 points, and  Nashara McNeil-Watlington who  scored 10 points along with 5  rebounds. The  contest was  McNeil-Watlington's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
 The  win was  the third in a row for Cape Fear, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.33 points. As for Triton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
 Cape Fear will head out on the road to face off against Red Springs at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Triton, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on E.E. Smith at 6:00  p.m.  on December 5th. Hopefully E.E. Smith focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up seven on Friday.
