The Satanta Indians's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Ingalls Bulldogs at 1:15 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Satanta posted their biggest win since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They beat Prairie Heights by the very same score they won with last week: 77-47.
Ingalls can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by Ashland on the road to the tune of 67-40. Ingalls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ingalls' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layton Simon, who scored 15 points along with nine assists. That's the first time this season that Simon posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Breck Averhoff, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Satanta's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Ingalls, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Satanta didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ingalls when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win. Does Satanta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ingalls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
