The Trent Gorillas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patton Springs.
Patton Springs was led to victory by Diezel Ramirez and Michael Garza . Ramirez dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Garza dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Garza has scored at least 25% of Patton Springs' points. Another player making a difference was Kayson Chandler , who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Trent's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Patton Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
Trent's road trip will continue as they head out to face Winters at 1:30 p.m. on December 7th. Winters is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Patton Springs, they will face off against Moran at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moran's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Patton Springs' offense will have their work cut out for Patton Springs.
