The Hills Academy Knights won against the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders last Thursday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Hills Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against New Creation Christian Academy and snuck past 60-58. The win was familiar territory for Hills Academy who now have four in a row.
Leading Hills Academy to victory were Adrian Campbell and Micah Pugh. Campbell scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Pugh dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Ralph Doomes III was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two blocks.
Hills Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Hills Academy will head out on the road to take on Arlington Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Arlington Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Friday. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they will face off against Shiloh Hills Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
