Moss Point came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Long Beach Bearcats as they made off with a 34-13 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 30-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bearcats cut but never quite recovered from.

Moss Point has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Long Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Moss Point Tigers take on the Newton County Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Long Beach and Gautier will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
