The Stratford Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Auburndale Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Auburndale will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Stratford extended their winning streak to five on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on Cameron with a sharp 18-2 win.

| 05/09/26 @ Cameron | 6 |
| 04/20/26 @ Edgar | 4 |
| 03/28/26 @ Clinton | 4 |
| 05/07/26 @ Newman Catholic | 3 |

Tria Tubbs made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Tubbs was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with six RBI and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carly Pankratz, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Reese Spindler was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
Stratford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Auburndale got the win against Clintonville on Saturday by a conclusive 10-4.
Like Stratford, Auburndale also got a great game from a two-way player: Morgan Griesbach. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Griesbach was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.
In other batting news, Chesney Nagel and Jalynn Scherr did most of the damage at the plate: Nagel went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Scherr got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Danika Blomberg, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Stratford's record now sits at 12-6. As for Auburndale, their record is now 16-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Stratford has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Auburndale struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Stratford couldn't quite get it done against Auburndale in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 7-3. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
