On Saturday Mt. Greylock Regional take on Drury at 1:00 PM. Mt. Greylock Regional are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Mt. Greylock Regional had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. It was close but no cigar for Mt. Greylock Regional as they fell 12-14 to Hoosac Valley last Friday.
Meanwhile, Drury gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They put a hurting on Smith Academy/Smith Vo-Tech to the tune of 44-8. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-8.
Drury's win lifted them to 1-0 while Mt. Greylock Regional's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Drury can add another positive mark to their record or if Mt. Greylock Regional can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Drury's step.
