The Bay Path RVT Minutemen won the last time they faced the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears, and things went their way on Friday too. Bay Path RVT took down Greater New Bedford RVT 30-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bay Path RVT.
Bay Path RVT was led to victory by Bradyn Downes and Kaiden Brochu. Downes rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Brochu rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Brochu is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played.
Bay Path RVT pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points per game. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay Path RVT will square off against Oxford at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Diman RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
