After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty, Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-29 win over the Oak Park Northmen. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 52-13 victory the Northmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
Central's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Drake Gilkison and Cole Hass. Gilkison picked up 125 receiving yards and one score while Hass picked up 48 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
