Cascia Hall (Tulsa, Okla.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 24-3 victory over
Poteau (Okla.) on Saturday.
The Commandos were up 21-3 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter.
Cascia Hall expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. CH scored once in the quarter on a field goal.
Blake Johnson made a difference for the Pirates. The senior wide receiver kicked one field goal. His performance brought his touchdown total to one on the year.
The Tulsa school came into the game allowing 10.5 points per game. The three points that Poteau ended with were well below its average of 21.3 coming into the game.
In a 4A District 4 game next week Cascia Hall (7-0) takes on Fort Gibson, and Poteau (4-3) will go up against Muldrow also in a 4A District 4 game.
