Roderielle Franklin, who scored 13 points along with four blocks, was perhaps the best of all. That's the first time this season that Franklin posted two or more blocks. Akeelah Bovie was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
McDonogh 35's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
