Pinckneyville got themselves on the board against Elverado on Wednesday, but Elverado never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Pinckneyville's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Elverado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinckneyville will host Freeburg on Saturday.
