After two games on the road, Windsor is heading back home. They will take on the Silver Creek Raptors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Creek took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Windsor, who comes in off a win.
Windsor put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They breezed by Greeley Central on the road to the tune of 62-20. Given Windsor's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Greeley Central is ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Reyleigh Hess was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Gracie Worlsey was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Silver Creek suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 60-16 loss at the hands of Mead. Silver Creek has not had much luck with Mead recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Silver Creek, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Windsor against Silver Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 73-22 victory. With Windsor ahead 39-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
