Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy], they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 22-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meadville. USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Meadville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brighton Anderson out in front who rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Anderson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Bradyn Miller and his 133 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Meadville's victory.
USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy]'s loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Meadville, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 9-2 record.
USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Meadville will look to defend their home field on Friday against Juniata at 7:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games.
