Chinle had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Ganado on Wednesday. Chinle put the hurt on Ganado with a sharp 14-4 victory. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Duane Ayze and Mackaden Arthur were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Ayze pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Arthur pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent over his last three matchups. At the plate, Ayze went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Arthur scored two runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-3. Arthur has become a key player for Chinle: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise.
