The Hickory Grove Christian Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Lewis County Lions  at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hickory Grove Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Hickory Grove Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy 69-27. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the  season.

Hickory Grove Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Gavin Kiser, who  posted six  points in addition to ten  boards and four  steals. The dominant performance gave  Kiser a new career-high in  steals. Another player making a difference was  Tristan Nelson, who  went 6 of 13  en route to 16 points and five  rebounds.
 Hickory Grove Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 13 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  Lewis County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Spencer County 78-44. The  matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Hickory Grove Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Lewis County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
