San Miguel scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Catalina by a score of 56-44. That looming 56-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for San Miguel yet this season.
Meanwhile, Thatcher pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to Tanque Verde. Thatcher just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
San Miguel's victory ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-12. As for Thatcher, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
San Miguel took a serious blow against Thatcher in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 70-17.
