It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Joseph had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Cypress Christian Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Flyers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.
St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Azilee Leita, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Leita a new career-high. Madalena Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
St. Joseph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in five consecutive matches.
