Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Mandan, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. Everything went their way against Dickinson on Friday as they made off with a 42-14 win. That result was just more of the same for Mandan, who also won the last time these teams played.
The victory bumped Mandan's record up to 3-2. Dickinson are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Mandan take on Legacy at Bismarck Community Bowl at 6:30 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Mandan and Legacy will really light up the scoreboard. As for Dickinson, they will face off against Sheyenne. Dickinson stagger into the match hobbled by five consecutive losses while Sheyenne skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
