After soaring to 32 points the game before, The McLean Tigers were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Miami 51-6. It was the first time this season that McLean let down their fans at home.
It was another big night for Haiden Thompson, who rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 172 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Thompson's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards. Luke Wheeler was another key contributor, picking up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
McLean's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Miami, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
McLean will head out on the road to face off against Follett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against White Deer at 7:00 p.m. White Deer is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
