Eastern View had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Culpeper County on Friday. The Cyclones blew past the Blue Devils 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Cyclones, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Eastern View's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Culpeper County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Eastern View will square off against rival Caroline at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cyclones 4, the Cavaliers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
