The East Hampton Bellringers will head out on the road to face off against the Valley Regional Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
East Hampton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Haddam-Killingworth. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Valley Regional was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 52-48 to New Milford.
Valley Regional's loss came about despite a quality game from Conor Quinn, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Driscoll, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
East Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Valley Regional, their defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-1.
East Hampton came up short against Valley Regional when the teams last played back in February, falling 64-51. Can East Hampton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
