Riverside Christian Academy has struggled against Boyd Christian recently, as their contest on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Boyd Christian found their leader in underclassman Brooke Kesey, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Kesey has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times she's played. Regin Grissom was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Riverside Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.9 points per game. As for Boyd Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season.
Riverside Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Christian Community on February 13th. Christian Community will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Riverside Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Boyd Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
