On Saturday Shepherd Hill Regional take on Algonquin Regional at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Shepherd Hill Regional suffered a grim 13-41 defeat to Grafton Memorial last Friday. Shepherd Hill Regional got a solid performance out of senior Ben Carpenter, who rushed for 158 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Algonquin Regional's tilt against Wachusett Regional. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Algonquin Regional.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
