Westhill has gone a perfect 10-0 against Solvay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will square off against the Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. Westhill is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Westhill is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Skaneateles on Thursday as they made off with a 12-2 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Pete Stroman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Stroman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Tommy Hunt and Kellen Pens did most of the damage at the plate: Hunt got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Pens went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that Hunt has scored this season. Eric Holstein was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Westhill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skaneateles only posted an OBP of .370.

Meanwhile, Solvay posted their closest win since May 9, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Chilhowie 4-3.

Westhill's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Solvay, their record is now 3-1.

Westhill took their victory against Solvay in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
