The Mandeville Skippers can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Fontainebleau at home to the tune of 66-26. The win was nothing new for Mandeville as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Mandeville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alanna Benoit out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Benoit hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Hannah Benoit was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Mandeville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Fontainebleau, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandeville will take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salmen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Skippers are ranked 12th). As for Fontainebleau, they will be playing at home against the Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ponchatoula is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
