They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 85-60 walloping at the hands of Dawson Springs. Christian Fellowship lost against Dawson Springs in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 64-50 score last time.
Dawson Springs was led to victory by Montgomery Johnston and Rex Blue. Johnston scored 27 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals, while Blue went 8 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Casey Fain, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Christian Fellowship's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dawson Springs, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Christian Fellowship will head out on the road to face off against Fulton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dawson Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Webster County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
