Volleyball Recap: Hardin Northern Beats Upper Scioto Valley for Their Third Straight Win

Hardin Northern had won two straight games and Alaina Thomas did her part to make it three on Thursday. Everything went the Polar Bears' way against the Upper Scioto Valley Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Thomas, who had 26 digs and two aces. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hardin Northern was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-15.

Hardin Northern's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Hardin Northern will welcome Vanlue at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge New Riegel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
