AAA District 16 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in AAA District 16 this week, Memphis East beat Hamilton 33-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Memphis East took down the Wildcats 33-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
6-foot-2 quarterback Cedrick Wilson Jr. of White Station is the league leader in passing yards this season with 482. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Terreyo Nailor. The Memphis East star has 15 catches for 167 yards.
DeVante Turner of the Marcus Wimberly's team is only 97 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Turner has rushed for 903 yards on 138 carries so far this year.
