Despite the defeat, Johnson County had strong showings from Benvonte Murray, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Xavier Wright, who scored 13 points. Murray is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Javaris Duckworth, who scored seven points.
Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Jefferson County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.
