On University Prep's side, Brie (Brieana) Villanueva made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts Villanueva has posted since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Paityn Zimmerman was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Juliette Torres was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one triple.
