Paulding County has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  challenge the East Paulding Raiders at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Paulding County focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
 While it was all tied up  21-21 at halftime, Paulding County was not quite Alexander's equal in the second half  on Friday. Paulding County took a  49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alexander. Paulding County found out winning isn't easy when  you don't work as a unit and  rack up seven fewer assists than your opponent.
 The losing side was boosted by   Ariyonna Smart, who  scored 12 points along with 6  steals. The  game was  her third in a row with at least ten points.  Alexus Wilson was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 8  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, East Paulding's six-game losing streak  came to an end  on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a  50-28 margin over Cedartown. The  win was just what East Paulding needed coming off of a  70-24 loss in their prior  match.
 Paulding County now  has a losing record at 4-5. As for East Paulding, they pushed their record up to 1-6 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Paulding County didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against East Paulding  when the teams last played  back in January, but they still walked away with a  57-53 win. Will Paulding County repeat their success,  or does  East Paulding have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
