Central Catholic is 3-0 against Wood since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Central Catholic Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wood Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Central Catholic will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Central Catholic beat Manteca 57-51.
Central Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Mcgee, who scored ten points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Jordan Magana, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, even though Vacaville scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, Wood still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Wood made off with a 56-55 win over Vacaville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wood.
Central Catholic pushed their record up to 23-5 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.
