Baseball Recap: St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell 4-1 to the Augustine Prep Lions.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damien Dax, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Augustine Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy will take on Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers are facing the Hilltoppers at the right time seeing as the Hilltoppers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Augustine Prep, they will face off against St. Francis at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for the Lions: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Mariners have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
