Paramount has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lynwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Knights at 3:15 p.m. Paramount is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
On Thursday, Paramount got the win against Norwalk by a conclusive 8-1. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
Delylah Zermeno spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mia Flores was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Francheska Torres, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Paramount kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Lynwood brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past Dominguez 22-8 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won four in a row.
Lynwood let Irma Cerriteno and Eneida Luna run wild. Cerriteno went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Luna went a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That stolen base marked the first that Cerriteno has snagged this season.
Paramount's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Lynwood, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-8.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Paramount hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .455. However, it's not like Lynwood struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Paramount's way against Lynwood in their previous meeting back in March, as Paramount made off with an 18-0 victory. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
